Homeschool Art Lessons

Black Barn offers serious drawing & painting curriculum for homeschool families. We offer weekly classes at a monthly rate, as well as occasional intensive workshops - all to help fuel your child's creativity and also help them grow artistically through skill building and development of techniques.

4 Fridays: January 10, 17, 24, 31 - 1:00-3:00pm

Materials: Pencil & Pen

Week 1: Simple Objects in Light & Shadow

Week 2: Drawing Flowers

Week 3: Drawing Eyes

Week 4: Drawing Faces

​

$125 includes supplies for in class activities, however we recommend each students have their own 9x12 sketchbook and drawing tools to be able to practice at home between classes.

Once payment is made for registration, parents will receive paperwork to complete with details about the students

Materials Provided: Gouache & Acrylic Paints

Week 1: Developing Values in Simple Objects

Week 2: Single Object Painting in Light & Shadow

Week 3: Still Life Painting

Week 4: Completing Still Life Painting

$125 includes all materials for in class work, however we recommend each student have their own materials for practicing at home. Sketchbooks are also helpful for having in class and working out visual ideas and compositions.

Once payment is made for registration, parents will receive paperwork to complete with details about the students
